Clear Channel Finland, an out-of-home media company, is introducing Ropo Capital’s digitised invoice lifecycle service as part of its renewed invoicing system. The solution is based on a highly automated invoicing process – the aim is to streamline the entire process and create savings.

Clear Channel Finland is part of Clear Channel International, one of the world’s largest out-of-home advertising solutions providers, and a pioneer especially in digital outdoor advertising. The company offers B2B solutions in a rapidly growing sector – also in Finland, the network of outdoor advertising billboards in general and digital billboards in particular, is constantly expanding.

– We had no compelling need to change service providers, but Ropo Capital’s one-shop based business model intrigued us. We are extremely pleased with the comprehensive invoice lifecycle management solution that Ropo built for us. One uniform, easy-to-monitor process, one service provider and a good price, explains Sakari Sormaala, CFO at Clear Channel.

Ropo Capital will take over Clear Channel Finland’s invoicing at the beginning of June 2017. The solution is customised, and consists of invoice delivery, ledger service, payment control and, where appropriate, a reminder and debt collection service. In addition, Ropo Capital handles the credit management-related customer service.

– Ropo took over the challenging B2B invoicing field in a brilliant way. We will make significant savings from year one. Solution saves costs and improves reporting, for example, says Sormaala.

A solution that meets international requirements

Clear Channel’s new invoicing system did not require any major system reforms and meets the requirements set by the global parent company. The Group’s technology solutions remained unchanged and Ropo Capital solutions were integrated as part of the existing system.
